Work Order Information
To submit a work order, please follow the following steps:
- Make a Work Order Request
- Non-emergency Work Orders need to be submitted as soon as possible.
- Emergency situations take precedence over scheduled work orders. Emergencies should be called into 725-6276.
- Work Orders with a required completion date must be submitted 10 days prior to the completion date.

What is a Non-Emergency Facility Request?
Answer
Routine upkeep: Fixing minor wall scratches, loose door hinges, or cabinet knobs.
Custodial needs: Trash removal, vacuuming, or restocking dispensers.
Minor utility issues: Burnt-out light bulbs in common areas or non-urgent temperature adjustments.
Planning for events in the future: After an event is approved, complete the work order for its specific needs. These must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the completion date. However: if additional facilities staffing is needed for your event, at least 45 days of notice is required.
For non emergency requests, complete a work order.

What Qualifies as a Facility Emergency
Answer
Gas Leaks: Clear the building immediately and call 911 or your local utility provider.
Major Water Leaks or Flooding: Burst pipes, overflowing toilets (if it is the only one), or major roof leaks.
Electrical Failures: Sparks, smoking outlets, burning smells, or total loss of power to a unit or building.
Heating and Cooling Failures: Complete loss of heat during freezing weather or a total loss of air conditioning during extreme heat waves.
Security Risks: Broken exterior entry doors, smashed windows, or kicked-in locks that leave a property exposed.
